Further information on the back of the Mary Johnson's photo states: 'We had a hot dog and hamburger booth at the ceremony provided by Township Council in Kaladar. Several local people planted a tree including Magistrate John L. Lloyd and Joseph Yanch. We provided our own stove - kindness of Mrs. Tom Killingbeck in Northbrook. The truck to take us there was through the kindness of Alf Northey on Northbrook. I drove the truck over and Howard Northey drove back! We bought 200 lbs. of ground beef! It was stored in Jim Freeburn's store in their freezer. We were ages getting rid of it including: A. set-up stand when Flinton School held a strike, B. set-up stand on street near the Northbrook Hotel, C. set-up stand outside Cloyne Hall where a dance was on.
