Donaldson presented President Harry S. Truman booklets containing first issues of the new three-cent stamp honoring the women of the services. The President, in turn, presented similar booklets to Secretary of Defense Lovett and Assistant Secretary Anna M. Rosenberg, and to the heads of the various women’s services.
