Officials say the first victim was a female, located on Jay Street after being left in a vehicle by a friend. The second victim was a male, located at a residence on Prospect Ave. The third victim was a male, located in the car wash on South Main and Woodside in Gloversville. Police suspect the heroin contained Fentanyl. Fentanyl is 100 times stronger than morphine. Some drug users now mix it with heroin. Others may be unaware that the heroin they are using may already be laced with Fentanyl. Officers warn that someone’s first time using heroin laced with Fentanyl could very well be their last.
