The BASIS is one of the largest spaceships built by mankind in the Perry Rhodan series. It is an ultra long distance (300 million lightyears and back being one of the longest voyages undertaken) carrier ship, 9 miles long. The color of the hull is pinkish due to the ynkelonium-terkonit steel alloy used in the ship's construction. The front section contains the crew compartments, the command and control center, and the FTL drive. The central disc contains laboratories and hangars. Smaller ships (up to 1.5 miles diameter) can land on top for servicing. The rear section contains the sublight engines. Well, somewhat meh build, I think.
