This day in 1788, they became the 6th U.S. state. Massachusetts has played a significant role in American history including notable events such as the Pilgrims landing and the Boston Tea Party...though we should say Boston Tea Pawty ;) It's only fitting that we share this beautiful photo taken on Plum Island Estuary.
