Allied troops who attacked Dieppe in the Combined Operation raid on August 19th were guided to their objective by photographs taken a few days before by Army co-operation command aircraft. Here is one of the pictures, showing the Dieppe waterfront. It was taken by a pilot who flew at “zero feet”.
