When I was growing up in the 1980s and early '90s my parents' television only received two channels and this was one of the shows I watched often. I'm not even a fan of cooking shows but she made everything interesting. In my dreams we don't talk about food. We're just friends. We ask each other how the day has been. I can see her face and hear her iconic voice in my sleep but it's never within the parameters in which most people see her. We're usually just sitting at a little table having a chat.
