A Department of Environmental Conservation alert says it's spilling at a rate of 10 gallons per minute. That means hundreds of thousands gallons of raw sewage has spilled into the Mohawk by way of the North Chuctanunda Creek so far. The DEC says they're doing exploratory excavations as they try to find the exact location.
