August 25, 1897), brothers from Indian Mission Reserve Fort William (now Fort William First Nation), enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Force on September 7, 1915. Augustin was awarded the Military Medal for bravery in the field on August 23, 1916 and killed in action in France on May 25, 1917. Peter served in both France and Belgium and was demobilized April 1, 1920. The picture was likely taken at Gresley Park in Port Arthur.
