As far as I can tell (corrections and additions welcome) this reads: "16.2.15 Still no news of any parcels. The British R X [Red Cross] men have made enquiries at D[unkirk?] for us but there is nothing. It does seem a shame the others are all expecting things too. What a country! We are all longing to get back to civilization & decent food! Sounds greedy but we do long for a clean joint again all the others get [knocked?] up now & again with indigestion except sister but of course she never eats and [???? - almost looks like 'I am an ostrich'!!!]. Don't the PC look nice if you only could see the squalis little place you would never recognise it. It has been cold & wet again & are only too pleased to get to bed as quickly as possible. Love Mar" For more details of the story behind this album see www.flickr.com/photos/whatsthatpicture/sets/7215762769463... Sent by a nurse, Margaret Ripley, to her mother back in England.
