As far as I can tell (corrections and additions welcome) this reads: "1.5.14 Such a lovely day for 1st May. Had a nice walk. 9 patients of mine have gone out today only 12 left now. Clothes are getting very warm for this weather especially cloaks. Have not had time to finish letter. Todd alright & Sister better both start again Monday. Horrid not being able to fix about coming home. Miss E has never written. Post this in morning 2.5.14 Love Mar" It seems certain that the date she has written of 1914 is wrong - the postmark clearly shows '15 and all the information ties in well with other cards she sent in late April 1915.
