The Wall is offered by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund so local communities and Vietnam veterans can experience the memorial to the fallen, which lists 58,307 names. The opening ceremony included the Posting of the Colors, the battle cross ceremony and the playing of taps provided by the Texas Association of Vietnam Veterans.
