Today I had a short trip to Stanley Park, which over a year after it's magnificent refurbishment is still looking glorious. Clockwise from left: The Isla Gladstone Conservatory, flowerbeds on the formal terrace, the bandstand, the inside of a piece of ornamental statuary, a flower near the lakeside, the longest of the lake bridges. Due to my limited range I wasn't permitted to do the lovely rural walk through the trees and bushes along Priory Road, but it was a rare day for it. A lovely park indeed. Well done to all concerned.
