The only train I've ever been on in Finland is the Metro light railway, which is a relatively short east-west local rail link. Today saw me leaving the Central Railway Station at ground level rather than underground. That wasn't the only new thing though. If you look at the destination board on the train you may see it as 'Lentoasema' which is the Airport. The airport never used to be served by rail! They've built some new track linking up two existing lines to form a loop (or more of a stylised heart shape), a bit like the exercise creating the M60. We thought we'd try it out, and rather than just riding the whole loop, we got out in the middle to look at the new station airport. I'm glad we did - it's fab! The title relates to the route we took - it's the P Train. Today was an opportunity to do something new. In fact, two things.
