We're visiting Laura's folks and catching up with some lovely friends. We flew out from Manchester on this Embraer 190 which is less than a year old, and decorated in Finnair's special 'One World' livery, denoting their part of the One World Strategic Air Alliance. It was a good flight, though we took a slightly more northern route than usual, taking us over Oslo and not Denmark. We hit a few minor bumps, but nothing serious. For the geeks like me, we departed from runway 23R and landed on 22R, after a late deployment of flaps and lots of spoiler during the descent. The captain (Sami) seemed to know his onions, and we touched down very gracefully. The flight was also 30 minutes quicker than scheduled, which is a LOT to make up on a three hour flight, so we must have had a demonic tailwind! All good fun. :) Well, both photos and comments may be subject to amendment when I get home, but I'm in Finland at the moment. We're visiting Laura's folks and catching up with some lovely friends.
