We just didn't think they would be this size! This is actually a branch, and not a whole tree, but it's a massive one! Fortunately, the branch fell with only damage to a fence panel, and not either of the two buildings that it could have hit hard. The worrying thing is that the tree cutter who came today to start clearing declared it to be a fully healthy tree. It must have been a REALLY freak gust. Still, when you work next to a wood you expect a little bit of fall out from time to time. Nobody was hurt except the poor tree, and with it coming down during a school holiday the site was literally deserted.
