If you asked me six months ago what I'd be doing on Christmas Eve, I can assure you that "lying in the snow with some spanners changing a bumper on a car" wouldn't have been in my list! Unfortunately I seem to have sprung a coolant leak, and it's not immediately obvious where it's coming from. Further to that, the poor little Figaro got rear ended today (rear quarter damage, not too severe) and another of the cars was off the road with a split bumper. We needed to get some a bit more mobile, so the Mondeo got fixed. It was cold, but not too bad. :) Anyway, none of that matters, because the Christmas cake is finished! This one is all Sue's work, and it looks ace. I'm looking forward to sinking my teeth into it, though Laura is convinced it won't be cut until at least half way through January!
