Dave was lamenting with me that he too runs into problems sometimes, with mushrooms being off the table. I noted that I had some dried Finnish forest mushrooms that still haven't been fully used yet. A plan evolved. Carol was on a course tonight. Laura was in work. We had the big auld lad's mushroom night in! As cream is usually off the table for me as well (that one is Sue's bugbear) we went for a creamy mushroom pasta and it was beyond fit!
