Ladies and Gentlemen, the two best things about London...the M1 and the M40 - the great escape routes to the North! I mentioned yesterday that I was helping a friend out...this involved driving to, and across, London. Getting to and from London was a dream, but of course getting across it was a nightmare. I don't think I've ever driven across Tower Bridge though - that was a first. Blessedly I had Dave with me to share the driving. A kindness I will struggle to repay! This is the M1. Not my usual route, but it worked for today. It's a long return trip to do in a day though. Tired now. ...I was tired of London, but I would never tire of life!
