He survived the GA, and the procedure went smoothly. He'll be off work for a few weeks, and having finally shaken my cold I went round to see him tonight. This is the knee in question. Swollen, red, iodine stained, bruised and dressed - it nevertheless works pretty much as it should and he's not in constant crippling agony.
