Of course there is the whole "April showers..." cliche. And it has been delightful that everything (at least outdoors) has remained very green rather than turning brown and yellow. It is also very wonderful that the many waterfalls in the area have remained full when typically they are running very low to almost dry this time of year. There is one thing that trumps all the other benefits of rain. Something so delightful that no amount of grey skies can diminish. Rain turns dull surfaces to shiny!
