"The Superbowl was in San Francisco this year, so instead of running their annual office car train to some exotic place like Tampa or New Orleans, they ran up to Reno/Sparks and back, overnight. On the way back they had to stop and detrain here at Suisun-Fairfield because all traffic was stopped on the Suisun Bay bridges (railroad and I-680) due to an accident and sulfuric acid cloud from the Stauffer Chemical plant at Mococo, adjacent to the bridges. Later, after the all clear, the equipment deadheaded back to Oakland." Here are two runby sequences Roger Puta photographed. This 2 photo sequence is of the train westbound at Suisun, CA.
