| Keywords: I worked at the (Then) 'Building Research Station', Garston, England 1970 - 1973 and found this model of the 'Mohne' Dam in an over-grown, un-used wooded area. With a small stream running through it . This model, along with others, was built by the Dept of the 'Road Research Laboratory' for explosive test prior to the historic 'Dam Busters Raid' by '617 squadron' of the 'Royal Air Force'. 1943 The 'Mohne' dam (in Germany) was one of three Ruhr dams actually attacked. The others being The 'Eder' & 'Sorpe' dams. N.B. Explosive damage can still be seen in the centre of this model.
