I took it with me when I moved to Phoenix in '96. I took it to San Diego when I moved in with my partner, Marc. It came with us back to Pittsburgh in 2001 and Philadelphia in 2004. I broke up with Marc in 2007 and it went with him to his place in New Jersey. After not talking to Marc in 5 years, I reconnected with him...this time as friends. I was glad he never threw it out. I helped Marc move back to San Diego in 2012. He helped me relocate back here later that year. I helped my sister move from Philadelphia. She lives with me in an apartment three doors down from him. Marc starting a long process of killing himself by doing Meth a year ago. Between that and his non-stop smoking, this thing looked awful, caked in dirt, filth and neglect. I've watched Marc's life fall apart. He now is getting thrown out of his apartment. My sister is helping him move. I can't do that...I don't like looking at the skeleton he's become...one that's completely lost touch with reality. In the move, she found this somewhere in the piles of trash and boxes and people doing drug deals near her. She knew I wanted it back; I was so happy she found it. She brought it home where I spent a long couple hours of cleaning it. I've got it back. It means a lot. I bought this in the early 1990's when I was in my 20's.
