$Tall, green, not mealy perennial; stems erect, hairy. Salvia leucantha, commonly called Mexican bush sage, is an evergreen perennial that is native to Central America and Mexico. It is grown as an annual in average. This sage is noted for producing a very attractive late summer to autumn bloom of showy bi-color flowers consisting of white corollas and longer-lasting purple calyxes. Flowers appear in dense, arching, terminal spikes.
