Niamey, Niger: The House of Uranium building (Maison de l'Uranium) - partnership between Orano and the State of Niger - Orano SA (formerly Areva) is a multinational nuclear fuel cycle company headquartered in France -  Orano is the second largest uranium producer in the world with 9% share in global uranium production. In Niger, Orano operates two mines near in Arlit, in northern Niger, and is also developing the Imouraren project situated 80 kilometres from Arlit - The building on Blvd 15 Avril (Amir Sultan) houses employees of the mining companies Somair, Cominak, Imouraren, Sopamin  and Orano / Areva Mines Niger.
