Aerial view of the Ounianga Sérir Lake, one of the legendary Lakes of Ounianga in North-Eastern Chad. These remote lakes are definetely one of the greatest natural wonders on our planet. In the middle of the endless Sahara Desert, actually in a basin between the  mountains of Western Tibesti and the Eastern Ennedi massif there is a total of 18 lakes. All togehter the lakes are covering a surface of approx. 20 square kilometers. The Lakes of Ounianga were declared as an UNESCO World Heritage site in 2012.

Ramesseum, Theban Necropolis, Luxor, Egypt - July 22, 2022:  The Ramesseum is the memorial temple (or mortuary temple) of Pharaoh Ramesses II. It is located in the Theban Necropolis in Upper Egypt, on the west of the River Nile, across from the modern city of Luxor. The name – or at least its French form Rhamesséion – was coined by Jean-François Champollion, who visited the ruins of the site in 1829 and first identified the hieroglyphs making up Ramesses's names and titles on the walls.
