B-17 G WW II Bomber operated by the Collings Foundation. This aircraft is part of a collection of restored planes that tours the country and offers rides to paying customers. The aircraft is  a replica of the B-17 909 originally flown by the 323rd Bomb Squadron, 91st Bomb Group, that completed 140 combat missions during World War II, believed to be the Eighth Air Force record for most missions, without loss to the crews that flew it.\nThis aircraft was destroyed in a crash at Bradley Field, Windsor Locks Connecticut, on October 2, 2019 with multiple fatalities and casualties. \nVero Beach, Florida.\nJanuary 312, 2018
