Golden Damsel Amblyglyphidodon aureus occurs in the tropical Western Pacific from Andaman Sea and Christmas Island in the Eastern Indian Ocean to Fiji, north to the Ryukyu Islands, south to Rowly Shoals and New Caledonia in a depth range from 3-45m, max. length 13cm.\nJuveniles in small groups are often found among large sea fans. Adults occur in steep outer reef, occasionally in deep lagoons and along channel walls, usually in current prone habitats and where there are abundant gorgonian and long sea-whip corals on which they lay and guard eggs. The species feeds on zooplankton. \nMost of the time, a fish's behavior depends on its species. From time to time it is possible to meet exceptions, like this specimen, a very curious character, not shy at all, who kept looking at the camera.\nTriton Bay, Indonesia, 3°54'52.0617 S 134°7'21.3867 E at 9m depth

False Clown Anemonefishes Amphiprion ocellaris are hiding in the tentacles of a Sea Anemone Heteractis magnifica. \nAmphiprion ocellaris inhabits shallow and calm tropical lagoons of the Indo-Malaysian region, from the Ryukyu Islands, Japan, throughout South-east Asia and south to Australia in a depth range from 1-15m, usually 3-15m, max. length 11cm. It is one of the most popular marine aquarium fishes. \nHeteractis magnifica occurs in the Indo-Pacific Ocean, from the Red Sea to Samoa, in South East Asia, Northern Australia and the Western Pacific Regions, from Australia to the Ryukyu Islands in a depth range from 1-50m depth preferring the temperature range from 24-32 °C. Heteractis magnifica is the 2nd largest of all sea anemones. The oral disc reaches 100cm, but typical is 30-50cm. In captivity, the longest lifespan is 80 years, in the wild it is unknown, but its estimated that some individuals are hundreds of years old! Slingjaw Wrasse Epibulus insidiator occurs in the tropical Indo-Pacific from Red Sea to South Africa and the Hawaiian and Tuamoto islands, north to southern Japan, south to New Caledonia in coral-rich areas of lagoon and seaward reefs in a depth range from 1-42m, max. length 54cm. \nThe mouth of this species is protrusible and unfolds into a tube easily half the body length. The jaws swing forward into a long tube to catch prey with strong suction. When not in use, the entire apparatus is conveniently folded under the head. \nColor varies with age and sex, but adult color varies additionally, including with an all-yellow form. Sub adults and females are brown or, not uncommonly, uniformly yellow. Terminal males, like this specimen, are dark with a white head and a dark streak extending horizontally through the eye. Males become ornamented with orange and yellow over the back.\nRun Island, Banda Sea, Indonesia \n4°32'56.5548 S 129°40'10.29 E at 10m depth
