Andrea Cesalpino (1524-1603) in the public open spaces called Niches of the Uffizi Colonnade in Florence, Italy. He was a physician, philosopher and botanist. It was sculpted by Pio Fedi (1815–1892).
The Basilica of Saint-Denisis a large former medieval abbey church and present cathedral in the commune of Saint-Denis, a northern suburb of Paris. The church was completed in 1144 and widely considered the first structure to employ all of the elements of Gothic architecture. The image shows a tomb inside the cathedral.
