British serviceman's telegram announcing six days' leave. Sent to Cardington, 1941. RAF Cardington is best known for its association with the airship company founded by Short Brothers during World War One. During World War Two it was an operational RAF station, and was used for barrage balloons.

British WW2 Child’s 'Mickey Mouse’ Gas Mask. These were issued to all UK toddlers, the bright colours were designed to help turn using the mask into a game to keep the child calm and want to put (and keep) it on. Fortunately the Luftwaffe never dropped any gas bombs on Britain during the Blitz and these were never used.

A certificate, dated 1958, confirming that a patient is suitable for gas and air analgesia (during labour). All identifying details removed.
