Barcelona, Spain-October,29. 2023: Hospital de Sant Pau in Barcelona, Spain. It is a world heritage site.\nThis luxurious hospital was built between 1902 and 1930 and operated until 2009.\nIt was designed by Lluís Domenech i Montane, the same architect who designed the Palau de la Musica de Catalunya.\nThere are 48 buildings on an area of 145,000 square meters. There are many stained glass and tile decorations, and the building's angle and ventilation are designed to let in sunlight.\nAll wards are connected underground, allowing patients to be transported to their rooms.\nThe clock tower at the tip of the main tower is in traditional Gothic style. The ward, which resembles an Islamic palace, is built of Mudejar-style brick.

Esglesia Castrense de la Ciutadella (Citadel Military Church), Barcelona\n\nSituated within the confines of the Citadel Park (Parc de la Ciutadella) and designated as a Cultural Asset of Local Interest, this charming chapel is dedicated to the Immaculate Conception, the patron saint of the Infantry.\n\nThe chapel, dating back to 1720, exhibits a Neo-classical style with French influences and features a cross-shaped layout comprising a single nave and side chapels. Originally part of the fortification of the citadel, it underwent modifications during the 19th century when the Citadel was transformed into a public garden for the Universal Exhibition in Barcelona. Additional restoration work took place in 1928.
