The pink lady slipper is a beautiful and fragrant Canadian wildflower. Its population is rapidly declining due to people picking them. Their bulbs are attached by delicate roots that are easily broken, killing the plant. Also the plant only grows with specific fungi which make it nearly impossible to transplant. This stunning little flower is often found hiding in mossy areas.
