Tourism in Barcelona
Barcelona, Spain-October,29. 2023: Park Guell in Barcelona, Spain. It was built between 1900 and 1914. Parc Güell is a residential subdivision created by Antoni Gaudí.Count Guell is the owner. This is Stone promenade.\nGaudi was strongly influenced by natural forms and utilized them in his works. There are many large columns made of stone with an organic appearance. You can see walkways supported by twisted rock pillars that seem to grow out of the ground like tree trunks.\nGaudi and Guell wanted to create a residential area in this location where people could live surrounded by nature and art. However, their values were not understood at the time, and only two of the 60 homes they planned were sold.\nThe only buyers were Gaudi himself and the Count of Guey.\nAfter the death of Count Guey, construction stopped and the building was donated to the city as a park.
Barcelona, Spain: 10/05/2023- Parc Guell was commissioned by Eusebio Guell who wanted to creat a park for Barcelona aristocracy. The park contains organic looking columns made from stone, tile benches, buildings, and Gaudi dragons fountain. There is multi-corlored mosaic seats.
