Split, Split-Dalmatia county, Croatia: the Monastery of the Mother of God of Health  is a Franciscan religious site established in the 17th century and dedicated to the Virgin Mary, deeply venerated in the region. The monastery's church, known for its modest Franciscan design, also features Baroque influences. In 1936, the monastery underwent significant expansion to accommodate the growing number of worshippers and to enhance its role as a spiritual center in the city. The church houses a cherished statue of the Virgin Mary, believed to have healing powers, making it an important pilgrimage site, particularly during Marian feasts. Today, the monastery remains active in religious life, continuing its centuries-old tradition of devotion and service.
