A priestess stands at left with a sacrificial bull.\n\nA detail from a sacrificial scene shows a bull being brought to the omphalos - Made up of a stone and a snake it represents the navel of the world - Apollo plays the zither.\n\nThe ancient Greeks also used omphalos to refer to a sacred, rounded stone in the Temple of Apollo at Delphi that was supposed to mark the center of the earth.

Havana, Cuba - January 28, 2014: Cristobal Colon Cemetery in Havana is a free outdoor exhibition of arts. Most of the tombs are carved carefully, some of them are real masterpieces. Prominent people of Cuban history are buried here.
Terre-Cabade Cemetery in Toulouse stands as the largest cemetery in the region, sprawling across a 33-hectare area on the Jolimont hillside. The oldest part of the Cemetery was realized in 1840. The image shows a overgrown thomb, captured during autumn season.

The Janiculum gardens, on the right bank of the Tiber river, with a series of spectacular terraces overlooking the historic center of Rome and the famous Trastevere district. The gardens, the scene of bloody battles during the wars for the unification of Italy in the nineteenth century, are decorated with busts of patriots and fighters made between the end of the nineteenth century and the early twentieth century.
