The Epidaurus Ancient Theatre is a theatre in the Greek old city of Epidaurus dedicated to the ancient Greek God of medicine, Asclepius.
Teos (Ancient Greek: Τέως) or Teo was an ancient Greek city on the coast of Ionia, on a peninsula between Chytrium and Myonnesus. It was founded by Minyans from Orchomenus, Ionians and Boeotians, but the date of its foundation is unknown. Teos was one of the twelve cities which formed the Ionian League. The city was situated on a low hilly isthmus. Its ruins are located to the south of the modern town Sığacık in the Seferihisar district of Izmir Province, Turkey.

Turkey/ Ephesus Theatre
Approaching Falketind mountain peaks (2068 meters high) in Jotunheimen National Park, Norway in fall (September), involving hiking, clambering and climbing in very steep terrain on ice and rock. The peaks are viewed from south-west. This hike is very demanding and only suitable for experienced hikers in good physical shape.  The 1820 ascent on Falketind (at the time called Koldedalstinden) was the first ascent on an alpine mountain in Norway. The climbing team included Baltazar Mathias Keilhau and Christian Peder Bianco Boeck. They ascended via Falkbreen glacier and the northern ridge. The image is in black and white (monochrome) and part of a series.

The Letoon (Ancient Greek: Λητῷον), sometimes Latinized as Letoum, was a sanctuary of Leto located 4km south of the ancient city of Xanthos to which it was closely associated, and along the Xanthos River. It was one of the most important religious centres in the region though never a fully-occupied settlement.\n\nThe site is located south of the village Kumluova in the Fethiye district of Muğla Province, Turkey.\n\nIt was added as a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with Xanthos in 1988.
