Flowers violet-blue, occasionally pink or white, large, 20-30mm long, in whorls of 4-6, the upper lip markedly curved; bracts green, half the length of the calyx.\nHabitat: Meadows and grassy places on calcareous soils, occasionally in waste places, to 1900m.\nFlowering Season: June-July.\nDistribution: Throughout Europe to W Asia.\n\nThis Picture is made during a long weekend in the Eifel (Germany) in June 2019.
