Belfast, Northern Ireland. 26/07/2014 - A Royal Navy sailor stands at the prow of a Pacific 28 RIB as it approaches HMS Duncan in the Irish Sea at the mouth to Belfast Lough.  Duncan had been on a six-month tour where it partook in exercises in the Mediterranean Sea with other NATO forces and helped in a number of patrols monitoring for illegal immigrant crossing.  She then sailed to the far east, where she spent a number of months with the Australian, New Zealand and Japanese Navies in exercises and patrols.  Duncan's home city is Belfast, and on this visit, all crew were granted 4 days shore leave in the city.

Havana, Cuba - December 13, 2014: Cuban sailors stand on deck as their ship, a Rio Damuji class frigate, sails out of Havana Harbor. The largest warship in the Cuban Navy, it was built from old Spanish fishing trawlers.
TCG Anadolu, built in Sedef Shipyard in Istanbul, is 230 meters (754 feet) in length and 32 m (105 ft) in width, and has an area of 9,200 square meters (99,028 sq-ft).\n\nSix helicopters can land or take off simultaneously, while uncrewed combat aerial vehicles can also be deployed at the ship's flight deck.\n\nThe ship, with a full-fledged hospital and two operation rooms, can host around 1,200 staff.\n\nIt has a capacity to carry 13 tanks, 27 marine assault vehicles, six armored personnel carriers, 15 trailers, and 33 various vehicles.

One crew member is raising two maritime flags, while the other watches or assists, on the bridge of USS Canberra (LCS 30), an Independence Class combat ship of the US Navy which is docked at Garden Island in Sydney Harbour.  She was in port for her commissioning ceremony on 22 July 2023.  As part of the ceremony, her captain was presented with a kangaroo insignia attached to all ships of the Royal Australian Navy, but decorated in the colours and design of the Stars and Stripes.  That insignia has been attached to the ship and visible on the right.  The name of the ship and serial number is visible on the orange life ring.  A large, padded chair is visible on the bridge. Dakar, Senegal: loading phosphate into a bulk carrier, a messy and dusty operation generating a dense cloud of dust - Autonomous Port of Dakar (PAD). Contamination due to fallout of phosphate dust generated during loading and processing of phosphate ore is a major issue, in particular the presence of radon. Senegal is one of the leading producers of phosphates in the world,deposits are of a particularly high quality.
