Flowers pink, occasionnally white, 6-10mm, rather bell-like, borne on long slender stalks.\nHabitat: Damp turf, bogs, marshy ground, spring flushes and pool margins, woodland rides, on acid soils, to 1200m.\nFlowering Season: May-September.\nDistribution: W Europe, Britain and the Faeroes, generally local. Cultivated in Gardens. The flowers open widely in sunshine.\n\nThis is a scarce Species in the described Habitats in the Netherlands.$

$Hairless, short to medium perennial; stems erect, square and hollow, with a creeping and rooting base. (Pedicularis racemose) Sickletop Pedicularis is one of the six varieties found in Mount Rainier National Park. The leaves are toothed and reddish early in growth. The flowers are pale pink, and the beak is curled sideways and downward. They can grow 5-24 inches in the sub-alpine meadows.
