Stopover of the Orient Express at a train station. The Orient Express was a long-distance train established by the Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits (CIWL). It was originally a luxury train composed only of sleeping and dining cars, which first ran from Paris to Constantinople (since 1930 Istanbul) on June 5, 1883. In 2009, the Orient Express ceased operations.

Mankato, Minnesota, USA - November 19, 2023: View of the Mankato Union Depot, a historic passenger railway station built in 1896 by the Chicago and North Western Railway. The architect and builder was J. B. Nelson & Co. The building no longer serves as a passenger station, instead housing local shops and businesses.
