This Lutheran church was designed by Gottlieb Redecker and built with quartz sandstone in the thick of the wars the German empire was fighting with the Khoikhoi, Herero and Owambo peoples. It is decorated with scenes from the New Testament:  Christ Pantocrator, Nativity, Adoration of the Magi, First Bath, Last Supper, Betrayal of Judas, Crucifixion, Anastasis.
