Siena, Tuscany, Italy, July 07 -- Some tourists enjoy life, a summer evening and the pleasures of Italian cuisine in a characteristic tavern along the alleys of the historic and medieval heart of Siena, in Tuscany. Siena is one of the most beautiful Italian cities of art, in the heart of the Tuscan hills, famous for its immense artistic and historical heritage and for the Palio, one of the oldest and most exciting horse races in the world. Every year the seventeen villages of the city compete during the Palio in Piazza del Campo, an ancient medieval square famous for its shell shape. Siena is the 12th largest city in the region by number of inhabitants, with a population of 53,062 as of 2022.
