Rome, Italy - October 15, 2007: The Mausoleum of the Roman Emperor Hadrian built between 135 AD and 139 AD and in the foreground, the Ponte Sant'Angelo which was constructed in 134 AD by the Emperor Hadrian. The Mausoleum was converted to a Castle by the Popes in the 14th Century AD. The Papal State also used Sant'Angelo as a residence and even a prison.
