A Ranitomeya summersi, sometimes referred to as Summers' poison frog, is a species of poison dart frogs found in the central Huallaga River drainage and adjacent Cordillera Azul National Park in central Peru.  This species is listed as vulnerable by the  International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN 3.1).  In this photo, the small black and orange frog is seen on a purple flower.
