A pair of Pennant Bannerfish (Heniochus chrysostomus)
The Moorish idol, Zanclus cornutus, is a small marine fish species, of the family Zanclidae. Indo-Pacific and Gulf of California.
The Pennant Bannerfish, Heniochus chrysostomus, is a small-sized fish that can reach a maximum length of 18 cm. The body is laterally strongly flattened, with a basic white color and three broad oblique brown bands. The first dark brown band runs from the forehead up to the ventral fins, the second from the dorsal fin to the anal fin, the third is adjacent to the dorsal fin. The first rays of the dorsal fin is elongated and looks like a black and white feather. Head shows a short snout and a small protractile mouth. This bannerfish has a distinctive yellow coloration pattern on the mouth, top of the snout and running between its eyes.\n\nThe Pennant Bannerfish is found in the Indo-Pacific region, from the Red Sea to the Marshall Islands, and from southern Japan to Australia. It is common in coral-rich areas of subtidal reef flats and lagoon and seaward reefs. Juveniles solitary and usually found in estuaries and lagoons; adults usually in pairs.\n\nThe Pennant Bannerfish feeds mainly on coral polyps. It is an oviparous fish, meaning that the females lay eggs that are fertilized by the males. The eggs hatch into larvae that drift in the plankton for several weeks before settling on the reef.

Threeband Pennantfish Heniochus chrysostomus occurs in the tropical Indo-Pacific from Western India to Japan, to Micronesia and southern Queensland in coral-rich areas of lagoon and seaward reefs and subtidal reef flats in a depth range from 2-40m, max. length 18cm. The species feeds mainly on coral polyps. Southeast Peleliu Island, Palau, Micronesia, 6°59'21.15\

Sixbar Angelfish Pomacanthus sexstriatus occurs in the tropical Indo-Pacific from Ryukyu Islands to Malaysia and Indonesia to Solomon Islands, south to Australia in a depth range from 3-60m. \nAdults are often found in pairs, max. length 46cm. The elusive species has a large flight distance. It's not easy to take a good photo. \nTriton Bay, Westpapua, Indonesia 4°2'37.9124 S 134°14'12.5647 E at 10m depth

Slingjaw Wrasse Epibulus insidiator occurs in the tropical Indo-Pacific from Red Sea to South Africa and the Hawaiian and Tuamoto islands, north to southern Japan, south to New Caledonia in coral-rich areas of lagoon and seaward reefs in a depth range from 1-42m, max. length 54cm. \nThe mouth of this species is protrusible and unfolds into a tube easily half the body length. The jaws swing forward into a long tube to catch prey with strong suction. When not in use, the entire apparatus is conveniently folded under the head. \nColor varies with age and sex, but adult color varies additionally, including with an all-yellow form. Sub adults and females are brown or, not uncommonly, uniformly yellow. Terminal males, like this specimen, are dark with a white head and a dark streak extending horizontally through the eye. Males become ornamented with orange and yellow over the back.\nRun Island, Banda Sea, Indonesia \n4°32'56.5548 S 129°40'10.29 E at 10m depth
