Also known as the Habsburg–Valois War and the Last Italian War, it was triggered when Henry II of France declared war on Holy Roman Emperor Charles V. He wanted to recapture parts of Italy  with the intent of recapturing parts of Italy to ensure the French rather than the Habsburgs ruled Europe. The war was settled by the Treaty of Cateau-Cambrésis.

Rare scenery of snowy Delphi, Greece – January 4, 2019:  Delphi is one of famous must-go places in Greece. If joining a group tour to visit Delphi, unfortunately you have to just follow your guide. Especially it was a snowing day and guide strongly suggested all tourists of the group to stay together all the time. Tourists just followed the guide to listen to her explanation, not so many opportunities to take pictures of Delphi on your own. It is very rare to see Delphi with snow. Winter wonderland of snow !

It is named after Louis Pasteur, who made some of the greatest breakthroughs in modern medicine at the time, including pasteurization and vaccines for anthrax and rabies. The institute was founded in 1887. For over a century, the Institut Pasteur has been at the forefront of the battle against infectious disease. There are many identifiable names visible on this monument which was erected by the Association of Minor Asia and the Association of Minor Asia 'Ionia' Rethymnon. The genocide took place after The Young Turk Revolution involving the years 1914-1923 which impacted the Christian minority Pontic Greeks in Anatolia. The Young Turks wanted to 'Turkify' the Ottoman Empire and so a genocidal campaign took place against non-Turkish minorities. Between 1914-1923, about 353,000 Pontic Greeks were killed and 1.5 million were expelled.
