Realmonte, Italy - February 13, 2016: The Salt Cathedral, Realmonte in Sicily (Agrigento). This spectacular site is a catholic church carved in the salt by the workers in the caves of the salt mines of Italkali, a company that everyday extracts huge amounts of salt for table or for industrial use.  Less than 100 meters below the surface and 30 meters below sea level there is a unique treasure in the world both for its location and for its features.
These baths were called hammam, and were situated next to what used to be the Omeyan Castle, which it was most likely attached to, and were one the biggest baths of their kind in the city
