The Grote Markt -Market Square-, in old town of Bruges, is a large square of about 1 hectare lined by notable buildings, such as the Provincial Court and the 13th-century Belfry, one of the landmarks of the city. In the center stands the statue of Jan Breydel and Peter De Coninck, heroes of the Battle of the Golden Spurs of July 1302, built in 1887. Bruges (Brugge in Dutch) is a city of West Flanders in the Flemish Region of Belgium.

The Michaelerplatz (English: St. Michael's Square) is a major square in the center of Vienna. It is a baroque, star-shaped square that functions as the point of intersection of several inner-city streets – the Kohlmarkt, the Herrengasse, the Schauflergasse, and the Reitschulgasse – as well as the northeast entry point to the Hofburg. The square is named after St. Michael's Church, which lies on the eastern part of the Michaelerplatz.

The square lies at the outbound end of Andrássy Avenue next to City Park. It hosts the Museum of Fine Arts and the Palace of Art. The square has played an important part in contemporary Hungarian history and has been a host to many political events, such as the reburial of Imre Nagy in 1989. Most sculptures were made by sculptor György Zala from Lendava, with one made by György Vastagh.
Duesseldorf, Germany, December 28, 2020 - Skyline of Duesseldorf downtown with St. Lambertus,  Schlossturm and ferris wheel. Schlossturm is the extant tower of Dusseldorf castle. Today it uses as a Maritime Museum. The basilica was built in 1288 and now this is the oldest surviving building in Dusseldorf. The big wheel „Wheel of Vision“ has 42 Gondela and is located on the Burgplatz during the winter season.
The historic Grote Markt and Brabo's Monument lit up in early evening. Brabo's statue was installed in 1887 and the Stadhuis (Town Hall building) was built in 1565.

The Jubilee Column is a 30 meter high column, commemorating the 25th anniversary (1841) and the 60th birthday of king Wilhelm I. von Württemberg in 1846. Building started in 1842 after design by architect was Johann Michael von Knapp and in 1846 it was finished. The statues and reliefs were made by the sculptor Theodor Wagner. The statues represent the four estates; three of the four reliefs represent the king's military successes against Napoleon Bonaparte, only one is devoted to a political event. In 1863 a 5 m high statue of Concordia by Ludwig von Hofer was placed on the top.  The Dominant Building is Ministry of Economics, Labor and Tourism Baden-Württemberg as part of the New Palace In Stuttgart.
