5th March 2022: Edward VII monument in the Pier Head dock in Liverpool. A life-size bronze statue on a stone plinth. Designed by  sculptor Sir William Goscombe John in 1916 and unveiled in 1921 in memory of the King. The Royal Liver Port building is in the background, once the headquarters for the Royal Liver Assurance Group when it was built in 1911.

Liverpool famous skyline
This building was constructed as a sorting branch of the General Post Office and in 1902 it was turned into a phone exchange for parts of London. In 1933 the building size was expanded for the International Telephone Exchange. Today the building is called the Faraday Building and was designed by architect AR Myers for the Office of Works. In front of it is Baynard House and on the right is St Paul's Cathedral.
